To your homes, hands, and hearts

It's been over a month since I've had the chance to sit down and write. Since then, so many exciting things have happened and I've been able to see God move in so many ways in both my own life and in the lives of people around me.
But! You're here for book news so that's what I'll give you for now.
First off, let me just say that this entire process of writing, editing and publishing Rejoicing in Hope has been so very bittersweet for me. Maybe it's the fact that this is the last book of the series I've been working on for the last five years. These characters, in a sense, have become a super real part of my life (however weird that sounds). I brought them to life and now I've finished their stories. It kind of makes me want to cry. #authorprobs
Or it might be the fact that this story contains a whole lot of my personal story and some of the things I've experienced and been through. God has led me to share parts of my journey with pain and grief that I've never shared before through the pages of this story. I can only hope that the words in this book impact just one life, that one person will see how incredible the healing power of God is and how much he loves us and wants what's best for us even when we can't see it!
This quote is at the beginning of the book, but I just wanted to go ahead and share it with you guys today.
“Trust the author of your story. He writes the most amazing, adventurous, glorious, and redemptive works. The stories include pain, and even suffering, but they are beautiful. So when He takes an eraser to your dreams it’s okay to cry and wonder and struggle — but I promise you it’s okay to trust. God knows what he’s writing is better than anything you or I could come up with. Embrace that. Embrace the story He’s writing for you.” - Lauren Casper @ www.laurencasper.com
I am exstatic to get this book into your hands and for you to experience the last installment of Chrissy's journey and to hopefully grow alongside her.
With all of that being said, I'm thrilled to announce that Rejoicing in Hope will be coming to your homes, hands, and hearts by mid-December 2016, just in time to purchase for Christmas gifts!

{And yes, that's the official cover!}
If you haven't read it yet, the first chapter has already been posted. You can read it here.
Thank you for your support, encouragement, and for loving these characters *almost* as much as I do.
